Positive Behavior Supports Corporation (PBS)
PBS embraces a specific approach to delivery of applied behavior analysis (ABA): positive behavior support, which is a research-based approach to supporting people of all ages with behavioral challenges in home, school, and community settings.
Marion County Horizon Center (MCHC)
MCHC provides residential services to people with developmental disabilities in counties located across Central Illinois. This includes Champaign County, Douglas County, Macon County, and Dewitt County. MCHC operates 24-hour traditional Community Integrated Living Arrangements, and 24-hour Apartment Style Community Integrated Living Arrangements, and also offer Intermittent CILA Supports. MCHC strives to meet the needs of individuals while fostering the maximum level of independence for each person served.


Champaign Unit 4 School District Special Education Department
This department’s mission is to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities by providing individualized instruction and services that will result in measurable and meaningful student growth. Instruction and services are provided in twenty buildings across the district for students ages three through twenty-one.
The Autism Program of Illinois (TAP)
The TAP Service Network is a collaboration of five universities and ten organizations that together operate twenty centers across the state to provide services to children, families, educators, childcare providers, and medical professionals. TAP serves and supports persons with autism spectrum disorder aged 0 to 22 and their families through a coordinated network of providers, parents, and university programs while developing, utilizing, and sharing best and promising practices.


Illinois Respite Coalition (IRC)
The IRC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to advocating support for families by ensuring access to quality respite services for family caregivers of Illinois. The IRC is dedicated to spreading the awareness of lifespan respite for caregivers of individuals with special needs. The IRC is able to assist caregivers by connecting them to resources in their area, providing training on respite topics, and providing respite funding/support available through our various programs.
Persons Assuming Control of their Environment, Inc. (PACE)
PACE, Inc. offers services that assist persons with disabilities in achieving and/or maintaining independence. PACE’s goal is full participation in the rights and responsibilities of society for persons with disabilities. PACE offers services in its five county area: Champaign, Douglas, Edgar, Piatt, and Vermilion. PACE also offers services to the family and friends of individuals experiencing disability, and will provide referral services to persons not living within the five-county service area.


Champaign County Regional Planning Commission
The RPC delivers several Developmental Disabilities Services through local Champaign County Developmental Disability Board (CCDDB) grant funding and federal Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) funding. These services include Person-Centered Planning, Dual Diagnosis, Transition Consultant Services, and a Community Life Short-Term Assistance Program.
Illinois Assistive Technology Program (IATP)
The mission of IATP is to provide Illinoisans of all ages with disabilities and health conditions with greater access to assistive technology devices and services so that they may enhance their independence and participation in all aspects of life. IATP also serves family members, friends, caregivers, service providers, community/social/youth organizations, large and small businesses, and state agencies and local governments.


Elliott Counseling Group
Elliott Counseling Group has been serving individuals, couples, and families in the community since 2002, addressing the entire range of emotional and mental health issues.
Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission (IGAC)
The IGAC is a state agency that advocates for the rights of people with disabilities through three programs. These include the Office of State Guardian, Legal Advocacy Services, and Human Rights Authority. The IGAC also has a Special Education Collaborative between the Legal Advocacy Services and Human Rights Authority that provides families with education, advocacy, and legal services needed to navigate special education services.


Illinois Epilepsy Support and Resources
Illinois Epilepsy Support and Resources provides wide ranging services for individuals with epilepsy. These include Community Integrated Living Arrangement support, Community Developmental Services, a center-based vocational training program for qualifying individuals, and employer support and accommodation services for employees with epilepsy.
The University of Illinois Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clinic
The University of Illinois Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clinic provides care for those in Champaign-Urbana, as well as surrounding areas in the state of Illinois. Under the supervision of licensed Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists, graduate students provide skilled services for all ages, in person and through telehealth. These opportunities allow students to connect classroom learning to clinical practice to serve the needs of the community.
