Ecode
- To set up an e-code, e-mail your department’s business office.
- Once set up, navigate to: https://ecode.uillinois.edu/
- Site is only accessible from university networks; to access remotely – connect to a VPN.
- Main dashboard: shows how many codes have been issued and what has been issued for the funding source.
- Select “Issue Single eCode” item on dashboard.
- Enter email address of recipient.
- Add amount if needed.
- Confirm on next screen.
- Code can only be deleted within 10 minutes of being sent, so beware of typos within the recipient email address.
- If recipient never gets email with eCode, it can be resent again without removing funds.
